Brenda Bowen is a literary agent who specializes in children's books.

 

In addition, she is the author of Enchanted August (Viking). Her forthcoming novel, The Emergency Book Club, coming from Morrow in summer 2027. Her most recent book for adults is Goodnight Night Sweats, A Parody for the Menopausal and their Perimenopausal Friends, illustrated by Jessie Hartland.

 

Under the penname Margaret McNamara, Brenda Bowen is the award-winning author of over forty books for children.
